Barbadian umpire Gregory Brathwaite has been named by the International Cricket Council to stand in the World Twenty20 qualifiers set for Ireland and Scotland next month.

The 45-year-old was the only Caribbean official among a 13-man list announced Monday by cricket’s world governing body for the July 9th-26th tournament.

Brathwaite made his international umpiring debut four years ago when he stood in an ICC World Cricket League Championship match in Canada, and has gone on to umpire in 13 One-Day Internationals and ten Twenty20s.
