Antigua and Barbuda’s Board of Education will roll out its Laptops for Secondary Schools initiative in a week’s time.

The Antigua Grammar School, Antigua Girl’s High and Princess Margaret Secondary have been selected as the pilot schools for the initiative. Laptops will first be distributed to teachers.

Some 1,485 laptops have arrived on the island and another 3,515 are waiting to be delivered.

At the end of the pilot phase, scheduled for completion in a month’s time, distribution will commence in all other government secondary schools in Antigua and Barbuda.
