The Accreditation Unit and the National Accreditation Board will be hosting an ‘Open House’ at the Red Cross Headquarters this Friday June 2, 2017.
This event is one in a series of activities leading up to the recognition World Accreditation Day, on June 9.
The Open House will focus on assisting the public in becoming familiar with the process of and need for the verification of their academic qualifications.
A release from the organizers says the verifying of academic qualifications can become a protracted exercise. Hence, it is not an over the counter service. It is therefore prudent to access the service well in advanced of the time for which the document is required to be used.
The Accreditation Unit is hoping therefore to expose the public to the process in anticipation that the public would be better prepared to take advantage of any credential related opportunities.
The Open House takes place from 10am to 3pm this Friday at the Red Cross Headquarters.
