A Youth Entrepreneurship and Innovation Club geared at developing a culture of innovation among young people here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines will be officially launched today.
The club which is a joint initiative of the Centre for Enterprise Development Inc. (CED) and the SVG Community College, specifically targets students at the College who have an enterprising spirit or idea, along with those who are already engaged in business activities.
The launch takes place from 2:00pm at the Community College at Villa, and will hear addresses from CED General Manager, Mr. Felix Lewis; Director of the SVG Community College, Mr. Nigel Scott; and Education Officer for Media and Communication in the Ministry of Education, Miss Marla Nanton.
Former CED Director and lecturer at the Sir Arthur Lok Jack School of Business in Trinidad, Dr. Julian Ferdinand will deliver the feature address.
