A national March and rally will be held today to commemorate World AIDS Day.

World AIDS Day is a global event which takes place annually on December 1st, and is dedicated to commemorate those who have passed on and to raise awareness about AIDS and the global spread of the HIV virus.

The March will begin at 10:00am at the Peace Memorial Hall, and end at Heritage Square where the Rally will be held.

Today’s event will mark the culmination of a week of activities being hosted by the Ministry of Health for World AIDS Day from November 25th to December 1st, under the theme ‘Getting to ZERO’, with the local slogan ‘Supporting Positive Living Community by Community’.
