A new book titled “401 Vincy and Caribbean Proverbs-Amazing Expressions to guide you,” will be officially launched here later this week.
The book authored by Mr. Nigel A. Morgan, of Morgan’s Institute for Learning and Development (MILAD).
The book uncovers amazing proverbs of Vincentian Caribbean culture, charged with wisdom, philosophy and laughter.
In commenting on the publication, Janice Fraser Executive Director of VINSAVE SVG said that “Never before this has our Vincy proverbs been recorded with such insightfulness, giving us a deeper sense of who we are.”
Meanwhile, David “Darkie” Williams, President of the Garifuna Heritage Foundation in his review of “401 Vincy and Caribbean Proverbs-Amazing Expressions to guide you,” said “Brilliant work; makes quite interesting reading. A must read for generations.”
The book launch takes place this Thursday November 30, 2017 at the Kingstown Methodist Church Hall beginning at 7:30pm.
Books will be available at the launch as well as online.
