An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.2 yesterday rocked Trinidad and Tobago and Grenada.

A report from the Trinidad based Seismic Research Centre of the University of the West Indies said there were no reports of injuries or damage.

The centre said that the quake, which occurred at 6:45 a.m. local time – was located at a Latitude of 11.13N and a Longitude of 62.with a depth of 84 kilometers.

The quake was felt 102 kilometres north west of Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago and 119 kilometers south west of St George’s in Grenada.

The centre also reported that  it was also felt 115 kilometers north east of Carúpano, Venezuela.

There were no reports of injuries or damage.
