22 Vincentian students were awarded scholarships to study in Taiwan, at a function hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) on Wednesday September 16th 2020.

In response to the 22 additional scholarships to pursue tertiary level education, the office of the Prime Minister congratulated the students and thanked Taiwan.

“The government and people of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines congratulate the awardees and thank the government and people of our friend and ally, Taiwan for their consistent and unwavering support of our thrust to develop our human capital,” the office of the prime minister says.

St. Vincent and the Grenadines established diplomatic relations with Taiwan on August 15th, 1981.
