The 2015 SVG Christmas/Nine Mornings Festival will be officially launched this Sunday November 29th, 2015 at Heritage Square under the theme: “Celebrating The Reason For The Season”.
The program will begin from 6:00 pm with the traditional lighted street parade, followed by a Christmas concert and the lighting of Heritage Square.
The Christmas concert will begin with a special word for the nation by Pastor Gilbert Porter of the Belair New Testament Church.
Addresses will come from Mr. lennox Bowman of the SVG Nine Mornings Committee and corporate sponsors the National Lottery and VINLEC.
Minister of Tourism, Sports and Culture, Hon. Cecil Mc Kie, is expected to declare the festival open.
The Nine Mornings festivities which are unique to St. Vincent and the Grenadines will be staged across the country from December 16th to 24th.
But throughout the month of December there will be concerts, caroling contests and other activities celebrating the Christmas season.
