Police arrested and charged Seage John, a 19-year-old Labourer of Ottley Hall for the offence of Attempted Murder.

According to investigations, about 3:30pm on November 24, 2018 at Grenville Street, Kingstown, the accused allegedly attempted to commit the act of murder on a 16-year-old Labourer of Redemption Sharpes, by pointing a gun and squeezing the trigger at him.

John was further charged for attempting to discharge the firearm at the Complainant and for having in his possession one.38 Revolver and five rounds of .38 ammunition without a license issued under the Firearms Act.

The accused man is expected to appear before the Serious Offences Court to answer the charges.

Police have also arrested and charged Calvert John, a 34-year-old Labourer of London, Sandy Bay for the offence of Theft.

According to investigations, about 3:00pm on December 1, 2018 at Sandy Bay, the accused man allegedly stole one black wallet valued EC$50, containing a Vincentian and Canadian identification cards, health, debit and credit cards, a cellular phone and EC$1,213 dollars in cash amongst other items, from an 84-year-old Retired man of London, Sandy Bay/Canada.

John was also charged with causing Actual Bodily Harm to the complainant by holding his hands and pushing him to the ground.

The accused man is expected to appear before the Magistrate Court to answer the Charges.
