St.Vincent and the Grenadines has recorded 184 Laboratory confirmed cases of Dengue Fever. This is according to Epidemiologist Ms. Tamara Bobb, who disclosed the information while appearing as a guest on VC3’s Roundtable Talk.
“So as of today, we have 184 laboratory confirmed cases in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Our last update was 25th August where we had just about 74 cases.
So we see that over the last week or so we’ve had quite a significant increase in the number of laboratory confirmed cases.”
According to Ms. Bobb 62% of the recorded cases of Dengue Fever in SVG have been hospitalized.
