St. Vincent and the Grenadines Special Olympics Team is celebrating a very successful outing at the just concluded Special Olympic World Games which ended at the weekend in Los Angeles, California United States.
The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Special Olympics Team outing won 10 medals, 4 of them being Gold
The Bocce (boa-shay) team Natasha Doyle, Cuthbert Michael, Loggie Lorraine and Utica Smith won a Silver medal.
Krista Bynoe also won Silver in the 50-metres Freestyle Swimming Event.
The team is expected return to the state today.
The next Games is scheduled for 2017 in Austria.
