The retraining of the Yambou River into the tunnels constructed at the Argyle International Airport site took place today.
IADC officials have described the development as a major milestone in the project.
The Yambou River now flows into five large tunnels – channeled under a section of the runway at the Argyle International Airport.
As a result of this development, filling can now take place at the area where the river flowed, making it easier to finish the paving of the runway.
