The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Kiron Kishorn Boyle also known as “Piper”, a 28 year old, labourer of Greenhill which occurred at Canouan on Sunday November 26, 2017.
According to Police, reports are that the deceased got into an altercation with another man and in the process he sustained stab wounds to the left side of his neck and ribcage. He died on the spot.
A postmortem examination is expected to be carried out to ascertain the cause of death.
Joshua Toppin, a 37 year old, Labourer of Barrouallie is assisting the police with their investigations.
Meanwhile, Police are conducting investigations into the attempted murder of Ochocko Hamilton, a 31year old labourer of Diamonds which occurred at Diamonds on Sunday November 26.
Reports are that Atiba Franklyn, a 36 year barber of Diamonds struck Hamilton on the left side of his neck with a cutlass causing a wound.
Mr. Hamilton was treated at the Georgetown Hospital and discharged.
