Vincentian, Earl ‘Ole George’ Daniel continues his mission to get into the Guinness Book of World Records.

Come Thursday, May 31, 2018, Daniel will attempt to dance until June 7, 2018, and if he is successful, he will hold the record for longest dance on record, some 168 hours.

The record to beat is 123 hours set by Kalamandalam Hemalatha of India otherwise known as the dancing Queen of Kerala.

Daniel noted that “the dancing Queen of Kerala is up against the ‘Dancing Machine’ of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.”

He will be dancing at the Peace Memorial Hall from 7pm on May 31 until 168 hours has elapsed.

The seven days dance has another cause which is to sensitize the nation and to help raise funds for the cause of diabetes in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. It is hoped that Vincentians will be generous in their giving seeing that a financial contribution will be made to this worthy cause.

The dance will be also addressing the crime situation in the country and will be a way to get Vincentians to engage in a national discussion on finding solutions to the crime situation and also to do some introspection on their role in feeding the violent culture that presently exist.
