Health care workers here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines are receiving training in HIV Rapid Testing at a workshop, taking place here this week.
The October 5th-9th workshop commenced yesterday morning at the HIV/AIDS Conference Room at Old Montrose, and is being hosted by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment in collaboration with the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO).
A release from the Ministry says the workshop is designed to build the capacity of Health Care Professionals and non-traditional Health Care workers in HIV Rapid testing, as the Ministry seeks to address the targets and strategic objectives outlined in the Draft National Strategic Plan for Health.
