The St. Vincent Cocoa Company on Tuesday officially launched the first locally made chocolate bar produced by the company.

The Fine Dark Chocolate, made only from beans harvested in here St. Vincent was launched at a ceremony at Flow Wine Bar.

Minister of Agriculture, Saboto Caesar congratulated the St. Vincent Cocoa Company for what he described as “the production of excellent chocolate.”

Minister Caesar says credit is available for farmers who produce cocoa.

The St. Vincent Cocoa Company is run by Andrew Hadley as its Managing Director, Aidon Shearman as Finance Director with guidance by Harry Marriott as its Chairman.
