A section of Grenville Street in Kingstown was closed off this morning following the partial collapse of a building.
The building which is located opposite Music Center, previously housed the Horse Shoe Restaurant.
Masonry came off the building and landed on the pavement below as well as in the road.
Authorities were clearing the debris, and carrying out investigations in an effort to find out what caused the building to collapse.
No-one was injured during the incident, which occurred before seven this morning.
