Haiti’s Interim President Jocelerme Privert has named a former governor of Haiti’s Central Bank as prime minister to help pull the country out of a paralyzing electoral crisis.

Fritz Jean, was designated prime minister yesterday in an executive order issued by provisional President Privert.

He will be sworn in at 4:30pm today, and is expected to form a government in the coming days.
