This country’s Minister of Finance, Camilo Gonsalves, has said that the Government has made remarkable progress, in improving the accountability of the local financial sector over the past decade.
His comments came as he presented the International Business Company’s Amendment Bill 2018, which was passed in parliament in December.
Minister Gonsalves said since becoming a member of Economic Corporation and Development, the OECD has improved in accountability and Transparency.
He noted that St.Vincent and the Grenadines is making changes to its present legislative agreements, in order to demonstrate its continued willingness corporate at an international level, as an open and transparent tax jurisdiction.
Minister Gonsalves stated that St.Vincent and the Grenadines has amended its laws over the past several years, adding that transparency has been added consistently.
