Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Saboto Caesar, has called for farmers to pay greater attention to the quality of the products they intend to export to regional and international markets.

He made the point during his contribution to the debate on the 2016 Appropriation Bill, amounting to 912.9 million dollars, which is being presented in Parliament.

Minister Caesar noted that the issue of quality assurance was once again brought to the fore when this country made a trial shipment of bananas to the United Kingdom in October 2015.
