The 2019 edition of the Digicel SVG Gospel Festival, promises to be another great year for Gospel in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
This as the committee continues to hold fast to the mandate of the festival, which is to provide an avenue for Gospel Artistes in St. Vincent and the Grenadines to express themselves, while ministering in Music, song, drama, dance and poetry.
The festival opens 6 pm, this Sunday the 7th of April at the Victoria Park with an official opening ceremony.
Michael Peters Co-ordinator of the SVG Gospel Festival, told WE FM News that Sunday’s official opening ceremony will feature addresses from a number of persons as well as various local gospel ministers.
Mr. Peters said the highlight of Sunday evening’s opening will be featured artiste from out of Trinidad and Tobago, Joel “Positive” Murray.
And Mr. Peters said following the official opening of the festival, will be the commencement of the zonal showcases.

This year’s festival is being held under the theme “A Glorious Celebration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ”.
