Climate Change and drought are among some of the many challenges affecting farmers in the agricultural sector.
This is according to Ms. Cosel Peters of Windward Islands Farmers’ Association (WINFARM), in her remarks at Monday’s opening ceremony of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Fair Trade Organisation (SVGFTO) 15th Annual General Assembly.
Ms. Peters admonished farmers to pay greater attention to food and nutrition security.
