The government will soon be embarking on its annual road cleaning programme before school reopens for the new academic year in September.
Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves said EC$2 million dollars will be spent on this year’s programme.
Speaking at a news conference yesterday where he outlined a number of road works being carried out throughout the country, the Prime Minister said that the upcoming road cleaning programme will be followed by a 34 million dollars Road Repair project financed by the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development.
